Listen closely on Monday and you'd have heard veteran announcer Jerry Lawler explicitly say that Kevin Owens was making his "debut".

Prepare for more of that. Post-Draft, WWE are going to pretend that old is new again. That's why they ran some brief highlight packages for Raw stars like Andrade, Aleister Black and Buddy Murphy, and it's why KO's reintroduction was greeted with such surprise. How long will this last? Probably a few weeks, at least.

This week's Raw managed 17 hidden gems (one better than last week's episode), and they're all here for you to enjoy. Speaking of which, WWE are creaking nervously into next week's Crown Jewel rather than relishing the trip to Saudi Arabia; the international stadium show is unwanted by many, but it's become a necessary evil for WWE if they want that sweet moolah from the Saudi Vision 2030 partnership.

Things you might've missed in the run up to the show include Rusev shutting down fans who were hijacking his segment, a cosplay cameo for someone you'll probably never see in the company again, proof that WWE announcers can't improv and more...
