Robert Roode Dolph Ziggler Raw

The Raw Tag-Team Title match at Clash Of Champions on 15 September is now Braun Strowman and Seth Rollins vs. Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode, and it's weird.

On Raw, Braun could've added the United States Title to the equation too, meaning he'd have been defending the tag belts, another secondary title and vying to become Universal Champ. WWE must've realised that three Strowman matches on the one pay-per-view is a bit much, because they booked his match with AJ Styles to end by disqualification.

That moment is included on this here list, one that ties together 17 different things you might've missed from the Monday flagship. Aside from AJ channelling the spirit of legends from yesteryear, the show had sneaky production moves, unnecessary burial of some other tag championships, p*ssed off security guards and TNA references.

Add to that a dash of comedy, some vicious bumps, matches being put into context and more, and it becomes clear that this week's Raw (whilst hardly the best episode since Paul Heyman began flexing his creative influence) was dripping with hidden gems...
