Lashley slammed Randy through the announce desk without bothering to clear it first. Look at the screenshot above to see a monitor that ended up jabbing Orton right in the ribs when he landed. There's no way he took that bump without some pain, put it that way.

Perhaps those hoods on the table take some of the risk away, but there's a reason why countless performers have cleared those desks for decades. Nobody wants a pencil, monitor or anything else in the back/ribs/ass/leg/arm/neck.
