17 Things You Probably Missed From WWE SmackDown (Aug 20)

5. The Best Angle To See That “Brood Bath”

Seth Rollins Edge Blood Bath

SmackDown's producers ran several slow-mo replays of the blood bath incident. The last one was the best by a country mile. It showed Seth getting caked, then covering up and falling to the mat. He then started flopping around in the mess to re-emphasise what had happened.

One other thing: Pat McAfee and Michael Cole both called the stunt a "Brood Bath". It's kinda odd that they seemingly refused to say the word 'blood' at all. Does anybody know someone who was at ringside? That was likely corn syrup and food colouring.

4. Swim Shorts?!

Sorry, Montez, but you missed the bath segment by a few minutes.

Street Profits member Ford showed up looking like he was about to go for an evening swim rather than wrestle Otis. According to McAfee, those were "boxing shorts" (that'd explain why Montez had his fists taped up). Still looks more like he's doing some lengths, mate.

3. OUCH!

The Street Profits Chad Gable
WWE

Angelo Dawkins then pounced Chad Gable back into the ring, and the Alpha Academy leader bonked his noggin off the middle ropes. It's not quite visible in the above screenshot, but Gable's head whipped forwards violently; this fan was genuinely worried that he'd been hurt at first.

Thankfully, Chad's alright. Those rope bumps always look so nasty.
