You may have noticed that during the Austin Aries and No Way Jose match the crowd starting WOOOOOOing uncontrollably.
In response to this unexpected chant, Tom Phillips tried to cover it up by saying "the NXT Universe sensing the anticipation here." However, what the tall and slender man didn't realise was Ric Flair appeared on screen taking his seat just as he started talking. Tom was making up lies about something that we could see with our very own eyes... hey, that rhymes!
The shot we saw will have appeared on Tom's monitor which means that he doesn't look at his monitor while calling matches. Maybe he should so little embarrassing moments like this don't happen again.
