There was a chance, up until a few weeks ago, that Goldust may have wrestled his last WWE match. He's 49 years old, underwent double knee surgery in July 2018, and has been linked with joining his brother as part of All Elite Wrestling.

Fortunately, this no longer seems to be the case. Goldust has declared himself almost ready to return, and was last evaluated at the end of January. It's just a case of waiting for the writers to figure his comeback out.
