18 Most Intimidating Wrestler Nicknames

18. The Human Suplex Machine

Despite only standing 5'9" tall, Taz built up a hugely intimidating aura for himself in the Wild West environment of ECW. As well as making many an opponent tap out to his famed Tazmission, key to Taz's character was his use of a wide variety of painful looking suplexes. Hence being referred to as The Human Suplex Machine. Throughout his career, particularly during his ECW run, the Red Hook native would think nothing of delivering a dragon suplex, german suplex, belly-to-belly suplex, T-bone suplex, tiger suplex, capture suplex or half-nelson suplex. And that was often just in one match. In order to keep up, commentator Joey Styles would even be known to refer to any and all of these moves as Tazplexes at times. Forget the TNA broadcaster, forget the WWE announcer, forget the lower card WWE performer. Taz in ECW was a pure badass, even breaking long-time foe/partner Sabu's neck with one such suplex. It's hard to explain just how intimidating and impressive Taz was during his ECW prime, and the term Human Suplex Machine summed him up perfectly.
