18 Most Intimidating Wrestler Nicknames

12. The Hardcore Legend

In terms of earning a nickname, Mick Foley's Hardcore Legend moniker is one of the most well-deserved on this list. Having tortured his own body and the body of many an opponent during his time in Japan, WCW, ECW and the WWF, the Hardcore Legend name is one that can be used to summarise the career of Mick Foley in a couple of simple, to-the-point words. When an opponent heard the term Hardcore Legend used, it was a stark reminder of some of the extreme acts that Foley had done in his career. As such, it was an added reminder of the age-old adage of if he's prepared to do such things to his own body, then what is he prepared to do to the body of someone else. Fire, explosives, tacs, barbed wire and chairs were just some of Foley's toys of choice. Even as his career was winding down, Mrs. Foley's baby boy was still putting on matches with the likes of Edge and Randy Orton that only served to further cement the Hardcore Legend moniker and prove without any shadow of a doubt that "He's hardcore! He's hardcore! He's hardcore!"
