Chris inquires if Shinsuke grew up a fan of the business, and he confesses that he was, calling himself a "maniac." Chris asks if he went to the arenas to see matches often, but he says that he lived too far out in the countryside.

He grew up about five hours outside of Tokyo and he didn't even get wrestling on the local television, so whenever he'd venture into the city he'd read all the magazines he could and buy videotapes.

In regards to who his favorites were, he mentions that he was a big fan of Tiger Mask and the aforementioned Liger, stating that he preferred the smaller wrestlers opposed to the heavyweights.

Jericho wants to know if he ever got to meet any wrestlers and get autographs or anything of that nature and he responds that the first autograph he ever received was from 2 Cold Scorpio, who he met during New Japan's golden years of the mid 1990s.
