Despite the best intentions of Tom Phillips to get people pumped for Randy Orton vs. Jeff Hardy (first time in a decade etc), the audience grew bored of the United States Title match just a few minutes in.

At one point, a loud "Rusev Day" chant broke out in the lower tier, and fans around ringside seemed more entertained by that than Randy's sustained chin lock attacks on Jeff. You may have heard the chant, but some might not have spotted that WWE's crowd microphones suddenly dipped.

After one or two repeats, the sound levels went down and the announce team sounded louder than usual. That had to be a deliberate attempt by Kevin Dunn and pals in production to throw fans watching at home off the scent.
