WWE took three hours to furnish fans with a finish they gave away during Raw's first hour.
Monday's episode was the living definition of filler. It wasn't outright bad at points (some of the action in the Tag-Team Turmoil was solid, and seeing Drew McIntyre and Sheamus kick the sh*te out of one another is always good), but this week's flagship was hardly essential wrestling telly.

When they weren't giving away match results ahead of time, WWE's writers were showering loads of love on retro factions from yesteryear. Both the nWo Wolfpac and D-Generation X popped up throughout the show. Those sneaky references were joined by other easy-to-miss moments like Riddle giving RK-Bro a new name, or Raw's graphics team pretending that beating Jinder Mahal in 2021 is some huge achievement.
Elsewhere, Karrion Kross fudged his words, Charlotte Flair almost fudged her brains, Bobby Lashley cruelly revisited Randy Orton painful past and Nikki A.S.H dropped in a sweet tribute to her fallen friend.
