The Aleister Black attack caught Big E flush towards the end of that Fatal-4-Way Intercontinental Title match on SmackDown, but did you catch something else? Black dropped a subtle hint during one of his 'Tales Of The Dark Father' vignettes earlier in the night, and it coincided with something E himself said in a backstage promo.

That's the kind of thing on offer here.

Minor details aplenty are the law, and they include everything from Bayley ripping off SmackDown head boy Roman Reigns and WWE teasing Money In The Bank 2021 entrants to Jimmy Uso repping family and Paul Heyman coming prepared. Speaking of Heyman, Roman's 'Special Council' has some "new" music these days.

You just might recognise it. Nobody tell Jon Moxley what's going on though.

Other hidden gems like Michael Cole giving Natalya's title success some historical context, Pat McAfee making his commentary pal laugh and SmackDown getting its own version of a Raw superstar are all here too. Oh, and who could forget some tasty talk of "banished" Daniel Bryan?

Here's everything you probably missed from Friday's show...
