4. The Stupid "Will EC3 Get Stripped Of The Title?" Dilemma
In a desperate attempt to inject some drama into the show, after EC3 was announced to be fighting PJ Black for his TNA World Heavyweight Title in the main event, EC3 threatened to no-show the match, at which point Jeff Jarrett and Dixie Carter essentially teamed up on EC3 and vowed to strip him of the strap if he did so. And so, the commentators tried to play up whether or not EC3 would show up, as though there was really much of a dilemma between defending the title and just voluntarily giving it up. Of course, EC3 showed up for his match (attacking Matt Hardy with the title just moments prior), because there was never really any other scenario that would make much sense.
Stay at home dad who spends as much time teaching his kids the merits of Martin Scorsese as possible (against the missus' wishes).
