17. TNA Takes Credit For Wrestling's "Women's Revolution"
Poor Madison Rayne: TNA used her as a mouth-piece this week in a promo to basically run down WWE and NXT. She mentions that TNA started the "revolution" currently going on in women's wrestling, as named as such recently by Stephanie McMahon, and that when "people" say that there's a revolution going on, it's been going on for almost a decade, stemming from the birth of the Knockouts. She then flippantly compares the Knockouts to Ronda Rousey in terms of what they're doing for the sport, hammering another embarrassing nail in the mercifully short interview, which just feels like a desperate pot-shot at their "competition", even though, of course, TNA isn't much competition for WWE. Can't we all just be happy that women's wrestling is in a Golden Age right now?
