12. Dixie Gives Matt Hardy A Chance To Join The BFG Main Event
Backstage, Dixie announces an added stipulation to the night's tag team main event in which EC3 and Tyrus take on Drew Galloway and Matt Hardy. If Galloway and Hardy win, then Hardy will be added to the Bound for Glory main event, making the TNA World Title match a Triple Threat contest. But...this doesn't really make any sense storytelling-wise. Why the hell wouldn't Galloway just throw the match so he doesn't have to wrestler two guys at BFG? Josh Matthews even mentions this later in the show in an attempt to lampshade it, and the Pope replies that "that's not the type of guy Drew Galloway is." It's stupid booking, though, because who would blame Galloway for intentionally losing the match? The guy earned a match against EC3 and now Dixie's making it harder for him by potentially throwing another guy in the mix. Creatively it just doesn't work.
