8. Rhea Ripley (c) Vs. Charlotte Flair

Charlotte Flair's Royal Rumble victory was just part of the architectural effort to celebrate the sensational NXT Women's Division by promoting it to WWE's 'Grandest Stage', but like almost everything black-and-gold that makes the move to Monday Night Raw, it struggled in the transition.

An incredibly wonky build between Flair and new NXT Women's Champion Rhea Ripley saw several awkward exchanges on Mondays and Wednesdays, and when the sh*t hit the fan (or not, in this case) around WrestleMania, it felt as though the programme was snakebitten from the beginning.

As it turns out, a bit of gutsy booking and a quality match might have saved it.

The pair beat the f*ck out of each other in an absorbing Night Two opener, even if all the relentless screaming will have concerned the neighbours of wrestling fans the world over. Pain was sold, a war was waged, and 'The Queen' pulled off something of an upset by reclaiming the first title she ever won in the organisation.

Wrestling f*cking sucks at the moment, but this didn't, and their rematch at a TakeOver won't either. The best is yet to come, but this was far, far from the worst.
