Who says that Vince McMahon doesn't have patience?

The WWE boss is currently overseeing a SmackDown story that's practically drenched with the stuff. Some fans might not be enjoying Baron Corbin's rapid descent from 'King' to pauper on Friday nights, but nobody can say that the company isn't flexing its long-term storytelling muscles with the tale.

That deep-dive on Corbin's history is just one of the hidden gems here. Others include Kevin Owens' own past with the $100,000 figure Baron is asking for via crowdfunding, Paul Heyman ditching part of his routine, Seth Rollins making sure KO was safe after making a literal arse of himself and more.

Also, WWE finally showed an old moment without doctoring the footage, SmackDown 2K21 acted like it was 2002 all over again, fans in Houston brought some awesome signs to the party, Pat McAfee messed with Bianca Belair's presentation, and Sami Zayn took one to the skull.
