19 Wrestlers From Raw's Debut Year Who Are No Longer With Us

11. Giant Gonzalez

Giant Gonzalez was an enormous man. Originally brought into the WWE to feud with The Undertaker, Gonzalez cut an impressive figure despite the quite ridiculous air brushed body suit that he ended up wearing. Though his battle with Taker was a major storyline during the early half of the year, Gonzalez soon started to fall off the radar as the year went on. He did participate in a battle royal on Raw in addition to squaring off against the occasional jobber, but he never reached the heights of his debut at the 1993 Royal Rumble. Unfortunately Gonzalez suffered from severe health issues related to his gigantism, which forced his retirement in 1995. These health issues continued to be ever-present in his life thereafter and he was eventually confined to a wheelchair before his death due to a combination of heart disease and diabetes in 2010 at the age of 44.
