EC3 just barely manages to get back to his feet before the 10 count, at which point Tyrus again attacks EC3, and though Carter manages to fight him off for a moment, it's all over when Hardy nails him with the TNA World Title, and this time EC3 stays down for the count. That's right, TNA pulled off the challenging "double turn", where Hardy turned heel and EC3 appears to, given the obvious fan sympathy for the screwjob, probably have turned face. Plus, Carter still gets to say that he's never been pinned, so that's pretty cool. After the win, Hardy gets on the mic and sells his heel turn, noting his selfishness and calling the fans "ants" while the crowd chants "Hardy sucks!" Considering some of the utterly disastrous booking TNA has pulled out recently, it was refreshing to see them get something so important so right. Well done, guys. How easily EC3 will transition into a face, though, considering how well he plays a douchebag, remains to be seen.
