Even more shocking than the existence of the tournament itself is that there's a Knockouts group in it, featuring Awesome Kong, Madison Rayne, Brooke and Gail Kim. It's actually a pretty cool idea, even if it feels like TNA only did it to help fill out the numbers of their fast-dwindling roster. It'll be interesting getting to potentially see Awesome Kong or Gail Kim face off against male wrestlers, and as Gail Kim put it later on in the show, what other promotion would actually give female wrestlers this kind of shot? It's one of the more brilliantly weird things TNA have done in a while, even if they haven't got a chance in hell of winning it. Still, Kong as TNA World Champ? That would be sweet.
