2 Huge NJPW Names Coming To Impact Wrestling
Which former IWGP Tag Team Champions are coming to Impact?
During last night's Impact Wrestling No Surrender event, it was revealed that two NJPW stars would be appearing on this Tuesday's episode of Impact.
In the promotional video which aired during the show, it became clear that none other than FinJuice would be making their presence known on AXS TV this Tuesday. Juice Robinson and David Finley were largely left on the sidelines throughout 2020 due to the global pandemic. Yet, it now appears the two will be looking to make more of an Impact on American soil, after most recently appearing on NJPW Strong.
This isn't the first time Impact have worked with an outside company in recent months, with their current Impact World Tag Team Champions regularly appearing on AEW television over the last few weeks. Also, AEW World Champion Kenny Omega, Private Party, and Matt Hardy have all showed up on Tuesday nights recently, showcasing just how open the company is to doing business with other promotions at this time.
As the Tweet promoting this impending arrival of FinJuice noted, it appears "The door has been kicked open." Could we see more NJPW stars show up on Impact or vise-versa as 2021 rolls on? Only time will tell.
