2 New Matches Announced For AEW Dynamite Tonight

Can't see any deals being done...

PAC Chuck Taylor
AEW

AEW has just announced two new matches for tonight’s edition of AEW Dynamite emanating from Denver, Colorado.

PAC will square off against Chuck Taylor in a match that developed from the finish of the Bastard’s victory over Orange Cassidy at Revolution on Saturday. That the finish was also influenced by Lucha Brothers interference may indicate that this exists to set up a trios match in the immediate future. This should be good; Chuck Taylor can really go, which his role as pinfall fodder belies, and PAC is on sensational form having worked two very different but excellent matches in the past week.

Less intriguing is Big Swole Vs. Leva Bates, which pits a promising but very green performer opposite one who is best utilised at house shows - but who works for a promotion that doesn't run them. AEW has trimmed down unnecessary match lengths as part of its revision process in 2020, which should yield a short quasi-squash in which Swole handily defeats Bates - after a few amusing comedy sequences - with her impressive if unrefined power game.

Jon Moxley and Darby Allin take on Chris Jericho and Sammy Guevara in the main event, while Lance Archer's debut appearance has also been promoted.
