Downs...

3. Some Of The Promos

Promos from Bianca Belair, Bobby Lashley and The Street Profits, Rey Mysterio and more were oddly lacking in personality. It was like the production team either ambushed some (Lashley and The Profits) backstage without warning, or rushed others into recording something from home without much warning.

Weird.

This might sound pretty brutal to anyone who doesn't think a 'best of' show should be hyper-analysed, but none of the promos on tap did much to sell 2023 as exciting. Belair's speech, in particular, was rather meandering and repeated itself several times before eventually getting to the point.

The point? That Bianca wants to become Women's Champion again in 2024. Thrilling, must-see content there. OK, enough being bitchy for now. It's just...well, WWE could've done more with these inserts. They didn't really add anything to the program.
