2 Ups & 5 Downs From AEW Dark (Jan 14)

2. Demolish This Act

It's time to rip everything about Shawn Spears and Tully Blanchard up and find something else for both to do, because their current situation is wretched.

Going down the undercard comedy route with Spears is fine, given how badly his 'Chairman' act flopped after the Cody bout, but not with Tully by his side. Blanchard needs to split. Why would Tully, a master strategist, put up with this sh*t in character? Why would he let his charge sit and get entranced by Billy's willy? Why would he allow Spears to slip into comedy geekdom in the first place? The guy's supposed to be a wrestling genius, yet he currently looks about as effective as a chocolate coffee pot.

Get Tully out of there and find something else for him to do. He was excellent in the build to the Cody match and still has boatloads to offer as a performer, so let's use him while he's still up for it. As for Spears, maybe there's something else in his locker... but we need to start seeing it.
