20 Absolute Worst Wrestlers EVER (... According To YOU!)

16. Giant Gonzalez (1.22/10)

Eva Marie worst ever
WWE

The late and sometimes inadvertently great Giant Gonzalez literally stood out as one of the worst in-ring performers in wrestling history, with his sheer size not even being that helpful an asset due to how lean and uncoordinated he appeared.

Despite his imposing height, Gonzalez lacked the basic athleticism and coordination required to deliver even a broadly believable match. His WWE tenure is best remembered for his disastrous bouts with The Undertaker, particularly their match at WrestleMania IX. Gonzalez’s movements were painfully slow, his strikes were unconvincing, and the match’s infamous chloroform disqualification finish was a desperate attempt to mask how unworkable it had become.

It wasn't as though his limitations were surprising either. As El Gigante in WCW years earlier, things weren’t much better. His matches exposed his inability to keep up with even the best workers of the era, resulting in plodding, disjointed contests.
