20 Best Ever WWE Hasbro Figures

7. Shawn Michaels - Series 7

thecanadianconnection.biz Speaking of yellow (again), the third series of 1993 was the first appearance of the long-awaited singles figure of Shawn Michaels. Having split from his tag team partner in early 1992, Shawn Michaels' only Hasbro figure before this release had been as part of a tag team two-pack, released in 1991. The first of Shawn's figures captured him during his days with Marty Jannetty as The Rockers and his appearance had drastically changed since then. Jannetty's attire choice, as well as his character, remained pretty much the same upon going solo, but Shawn went full-heel and his Hasbro production was one of the most anticipated figures of the entire line. Collectors of the Hasbro line may know that the final production of the Yellow Carded Shawn Michaels was not the same as the original design. Inside the cover of the April 1993 WWF Magazine, the entire 1993 year of Hasbro figure releases were advertised in a photo featuring The Undertaker. In the photo was a prototype Shawn Michaels that looked slightly different than the final result. The ad showed Shawn Michaels in a Jake "The Snake" type of body with widely split legs and a spring-loaded right arm. The final product, however, featured the body used on Rick "The Model" Martel from series three. Odd.
