20 Best Triple H Wrestling Matches Ever

19. & Stone Cold Steve Austin Vs. Chris Jericho & Chris Benoit - Raw, May 2001

Another match mired by an unfortunate ending, that being the explosion of The Game's quads. Nevertheless, it has gone down as one of the best TV matches in Raw history.

In the weeks following the shocking end of WrestleMania X-Seven, Stone Cold Steve Austin allied himself with Triple H to form the Two Man Power Trip, and as a unit would capture every major title in the company, Austin with the WWF title, Hunter as Intercontinental Champion, and sharing the Tag Team Titles, though the Game would lose his title at Judgment Day.

On 21 May 2001, the heels would do battle against Chris Jericho and Chris Benoit for the Tag Team Championships in a true barnstormer. All four men were at the peak of their physical abilities and tore the house down, with Triple H and Stone Cold using their power and ruthlessness to counter the two Chris' speed and technical prowess.

The Cerebral Assassin would break up a submission on Austin by Jericho, in a move that would tear his quadricep off the bone. But his night wasn't done as the Walls of Jericho was applied to him as well, causing a huge amount of pain but proving that Hunter is one tough S.O.B.
