20 Best Women's Wrestlers In The World Today

2. Asuka

Asuka is a shining example of what happens when WWE abandon their restrictive 50/50 booking philosophy. Her all-out dominance has made her one of the hottest acts in the promotion, and a transcendent talent who, if handled correctly, has the power to surpass each of the company’s Four Horsewomen on the main roster, and drag the Women’s Revolution to new heights.

Chances are that WWE will find a way to ruin her on Raw, such is their inability to preserve star auras, but at the moment, Asuka is their strongest women’s wrestler. A truly fearsome force, her mystique, star power, and presence are incomparable, and her character work has been nothing short of flawless since debuting in NXT.

It helps that ‘The Empress Of Tomorrow’ is truly elite between the ropes, too. Her recent NXT clash with Ember Moon has been hailed as one of the best women’s matches in NXT history, but her deep resume stretches back several years, when she was having shockingly great bouts with the likes of Emma and Dana Brooke.

The plausible evisceration of her character on Raw will likely see Asuka tumble down this list before long, but for now, she’s WWE’s number one.
