20 Best WWE Matches Of 2015

8. Brock Lesnar Vs The Undertaker - Hell In A Cell

The drama of this bout, and thus its captivating quality, benefited from a long build with a personal grudge to it. This was the final chapter of the recent trilogy, with Lesnar having ended The Undertaker's streak at WrestleMania 30, and the sequel at SummerSlam 2015 having been won by Taker in controversial circumstances. With one win to each of their names, Hell In A Cell promised a decisive winner. And it delivered. They pounded each other with physical blows, cell smashes, chair shots, and in a stunning finale, the exposed ring wood. It was different to any other WWE match this year, with both men bleeding, and Lesnar legit shoving the doctor away when he attempted to examine the cut. It gave it all a feel of being something bigger than just a pro wrestling match. The ending saw Lesnar ripping the mat canvas up, only for Taker to then tombstone him on it. Brock recovered, hit a low blow, then landed the F5 on Taker for the win. It was a great finish to a brutal war.
