20 Best WWE Matches Of The Decade (So Far)

20. CM Punk Vs. John Cena - Raw, February 25th 2013

John Cena and CM Punk had one of the best rivalries of the decade. Total opposites in almost every way, theirs was a natural feud. Cena had often been criticised for making light of his opponents and laughing off their threats but he brought his A-game for the Punk series. As good as their stuff on the mic was (this was, after all, the feud which gave us Punk's infamous Pipe Bomb promo), it was even better in the ring. Cena and Punk complemented each other beautifully, with every match being different from their last. Their 2011 matches are, obviously, the most well-remembered of their series but they continued to have great outings beyond that. Case in point is this Number One Contenders match for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship (held by The Rock). With a spot in the main event of WrestleMania at stake, neither man could afford to give any less than his best. One of the best Raw matches, well, ever, this is most notable for Punk busting out the long-banned piledriver, which resulted in an unbelievable near-fall. Cena won the match, of course (LOL).
