The 20 Best WWE Pro Wrestlers Of 2014

19. Sheamus

Last year placed 15 The conclusion on Sheamus last year was fairly damning. He was lacking relevancy and badly in need of a heel turn. Well, fast forward a year, he's still lacking relevancy and still needing a heel turn! It is quite astonishing that WWE have done so little to stir interest in the Irishman. He's a big guy who can go in the ring, but he's just never had the creative behind him. They push him at the same time as doing nothing to get him over. Still, he deserves to be on this list, purely from the fact he's a reliable mid-card act. He is a good in-ring worker and deserves to be ranked as such. He worked hard to try and put on good contests, despite getting little help from storytelling department. There was also a lengthy US title run, after he won a battle royal in May. That was ended by Rusev in November and the Irishman went out injured shortly thereafter. Highlight of the year: US Title reign.
