Another character that derives a lot of her power from the fortuitous circumstances of her birth, she was born into a warrior race, her childhood dominated from the outset by gladiators and constant combat. She is a princess and her current status as one of the biggest, baddest b*tches on the planet attests to her lineage and her commitment to honour the (perhaps somewhat outdated) principles of her forebears. Wonder Woman may not be the most interesting or complex female character, but she's one of the longest-enduring. She's survived continual revisions and character changes, but one thing has remained constant throughout: whether descended from Gods or Amazons, greatness is in her blood.
