19. Ox Baker Takes On Snake Plissken Escape From New York (1981)
The master of the Heart Punch, Ox Baker, was no stranger to the strange. His unique look and signature mustache (often imitated but never duplicated) made him bigger than life, and a cult figure much like the late great Andre The Giant. His stardom transcended from the wrestling ring to the movie screen, and made him one of the most recognizable superstars in the world before the big wrestling boom of the '80s. One of his most memorable big-screen appearances was in in John Carpenters cult classic Escape From New York. Baker played Snake Plisskens (Kurt Russell) opponent in a no holds barred modern-day gladiatorial contest held inside a ring. Snake ultimately kills Baker's character quite brutally. http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xhr59m_deathmatch-snake-vs-slag_shortfilms
