Matt Bloom is still employed with WWE as head coach of the Performance Centre, thus making him a simple addition to a WrestleMania Gimmick Battle Royal. The more difficult task, however, would be deciding which gimmick he were to appear under. There are three choices, each as unappealing as the next:

A) Albert – best known as the A in the forgettable T&A team with Test and Trish Stratus, and the ‘Hip-Hop Hippo’ in X-Factor alongside Justin Credible and X-Pac, the trio with unforgettable entrance music many rate worst in history.

B) Lord Tensai – the green mist-spitting colossus who returned to WWE in 2012 after eight years in Japan, as a face tattooed Japanese Warrior.

Or.

C) A-Train – a Paul Heyman guy who had a comically hairy back.

Truth be told, it doesn’t really matter which gimmick Bloom competes with, just as long as he does his bit to show the next-generation of stars how to get it done on the big stage.
