7. DX Presidential Address
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ebeWtpv61JU D-Generation X were blatantly created to be the WWF's answer to the New World Order that was sweeping through WCW. In the mid-to-late-90's, anti authority was all the rage, and DX offered that in abundance. It's fair to say that not everybody was enthralled by the way Shawn Michaels, Triple H and Chyna acted however, the trio weren't popular with a lot of older fans at the time, who felt a lot of the antics DX got up to were juvenile. Nonetheless, the faction wasn't for those people, as there was a much bigger market of folks who were loving what they were seeing. Even though DX was initially put together as a heel group, they were much cooler than a lot of the babyfaces on the roster, and it wasn't long before they were embraced by fans. Making fun of then-United States President Bill Clinton's damage control speeches, in the wake of a rumoured extra-marital affair, D-Generation X set up their own Presidential Address, during which they uttered many words that wrestling fans had never really heard in the WWF. It was years ahead of its time, and suddenly DX were the hip and happening thing.
