Acting like a complement to his autobiography, Journey To WrestleMania is a prolonged build to Daniel Bryan's matches at 'Mania XXX in 2014. Aside from the occasional veering into kayfabe, the documentary is an entertaining and first person account from one of wrestling's most brutally honest figures.

Naturally, Bryan's retirement isn't featured, because his career hadn't quite reached that point upon release. There's a lot of self-reflection though, and those who read the man's book will revel in seeing that Bryan is just as candid verbally as he is in text.

There may never be another performer in WWE like Daniel Bryan, he defied all the odds to headline wrestling's biggest event. That's not something he's particularly willing to admit, but then again he doesn't need to. Fans can fill in the missing pieces for themselves, realising that Bryan is a phenomenon that progressed organically.

Watched in conjunction with the first Wrestling Road Diaries, this helps complete the Daniel Bryan story (retirement aside of course, although there is another WWE Network special focusing on that out there).
