20 Greatest Wrestling Documentaries Ever
15. ESPN E:60: Scott Hall "The Wrestler" (2011)

One of the shorter documentaries on this list, ESPN's examination of Scott Hall's trials and tribulations was the subject of much social media chatter when it was released in 2011. At only around 20 minutes in length, it's a brief look at Hall's substance abuse issues, which interrupted his stellar in-ring career more than once.
Hall is candid as he explains his problems, even going into detail about shooting a man back in the mid-1980's whilst working as a bouncer. Claiming self defence, the wrestler also says he was unable to forget the incident and it haunted him for years.
At the peak of his career, Hall portrayed Razor Ramon for the WWF. Later, a move to WCW would only see more problems with alcohol and drugs come his way. ESPN do not shy away from this, and Hall himself deserves credit for willingly telling his story even when it paints him in a bad light.
Now that Scott is in a better place (thanks to fan support and friends like Diamond Dallas Page), this film is a little easier to digest.
