20 Greatest WWE SmackDown Superstars Ever

10. Rey Mysterio

The less said about Rey Mysterio's tumultuous 2006 World Heavyweight Title reign the better, but just about everything else he ever did on the blue brand far surpassed that of his contemporaries.

Entering the legend tier late in his run, Mysterio had shockingly superb bouts with The Undertaker, CM Punk, Andrade and others, excelling at the top level when so little faith had been shown in him before.

As a Cruiserweight Champion a full generation earlier, he elevated the belt beyond its status - his 2003 main event with Matt Hardy was at the time only bettered quality-wise by his superlative tag team work as part of the 'SmackDown Six' the prior summer.
