Triple H and Shawn Michaels were already the class clown frat boys of the WWF locker room before D-Generation X ever formed. Vince McMahon was apparently hesitant to put the two together on TV, but eventually they pestered him enough that he caved in. Suck It! was something they were saying backstage, so it was only natural for them to transfer it to the screen. The crotch-chop was a perfect addition, because it meant they could humiliate their opponent without a microphone, and it looked incredibly cool accompanied by the flashes of pyro in their iconic entrance.
