As the fall of 2003 rolled around, Trish Stratus found herself in an uneven war with Molly Holly and Gail Kim. Outnumbered and on the receiving end of a beatdown at the hands of her rivals almost every week, she desperately needed someone to step up and stand by her side.

Enter Lita, fresh off a year-long absence following major neck surgery.

The fiery redhead teamed with her longtime rival to take on Holly and Kim at Unforgiven in September, live from the sweetest place on earth, Hershey, Pennsylvania. There was nothing sweet about the furious action that unfolded inside the squared circle that night, though.

In the only tag team match to make this list, Molly and Gail isolated Trish and demonstrated a solid understanding of heel tag psychology. They cut the ring in half, prevented numerous attempts at a hot tag and Holly even pulled Lita off the ring apron, sending her teeth through her bottom lip in the process.

No matter how much they beat down Stratus, channeling the events that led to the match, the villainesses could not put her away. The resilient babyface fought back and finally made the hot tag, sending Lita exploding into the match.

Moments later, the revolutionary competitor scored the pin off of her trademark moonsault to Molly, putting her right in contention for the Women's Championship.
