Lesnar wrestled many dark matches before he made his in-ring debut, but the first time it was filmed for a show was Backlash on April 21, 2002. It was a dominant win for Lesnar as he destroyed Jeff Hardy with power moves while proving that he was going to be a force to be reckoned with.
