No true fan of Michaels likes talking about the "lose my smile" speech in February of 1997. He was the WWE Champion and he was in the ring saying he had to give up the title due to a knee injury. He was sad and the fans were too. Michaels had a rep for not putting people over for titles. This was the worst instance of it.
