18. The Boyhood Dream Has Come True - WrestleMania XII
At WrestleMania XII, Shawn Michaels and Bret Hart competed in the WWEs first televised Iron Man match, to finally settle who was the better wrestler, and who would walk out WWF Champion. In the run up to the match, the WWF spent a lot of time putting over how much both men had worked to get to where they were today, and how much being the best meant to them. After an hour of back-and-forth wrestling, neither men came out victorious, so the match was restarted with sudden death rules. Two minutes later, Shawn Michaels hit the Sweet Chin Music on Bret Hart to win his first WWF Championship, and the crowd went wild, knowing just how much it meant for the young Michaels to have finally reached the top of the mountain.
