An egotistical villain made his own bed and at the 1995 King of the Ring, he would be forced to lie in it as Jerry "the King" Lawler attempted to defeat and humiliate Bret Hart in the first-ever Kiss My Foot match. Unfortunately for the Memphis legend his plans backfired and he found himself on the receiving end of a mouthful of two sweaty, stinky feet. The disgrace he felt as he tasted his own putrid foot was enough to fracture any man's pride but for someone who did so much talking prior to the bout, it was doubly difficult for the King to stomach. The loss capped off a two-year rivalry between Lawler and Hart, which had begun at the very same pay-per-view in 1993. Throughout its long run, Lawler would openly criticize Hart and insult his family. It became incredibly personal for the Hitman, who wanted nothing more than to punish Lawler and shut him up for good. While there was no way in hell the ring veteran and all-time great promo man would ever be completely silenced, Hart certainly got a king-sized measure of revenge on that warm summer's night in Philadelphia. http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xrnfvt_wwe-king-of-the-ring-1995-bret-hart-vs-jerry-lawler_sport
