20 Most Epic Wrestling Matches That Weren't Supposed To Be Epic
13. Shane McMahon vs. X-Pac (WrestleMania XV)
Sean Waltman was an excellent in-ring performer. He had many great matches throughout the 1990s, but the one that stands out above the rest was his carry of Shane McMahon at WrestleMania XV. As history would go on to show, Shane was very capable of handling his business in between the ropes, particularly in heavily gimmicked stunt brawls, but he was an untested commodity when he represented the Corporation against the Degeneration X member in early 1999. With no gimmick to aid their success, Pac guided Shane O to a highly entertaining match on the grand stage. Some would claim that Mania XV was a one match show Austin vs. Rock. Those who did either were not watching or do not know what wrestling is all about. Few matches in modern history have told as complete and thorough a tale as did Shane vs. Pac. The climax boosted the bout even further, as Triple H and Chyna turned on DX and cost Pac the match.
