20 Most Horrifically Stupid Things That Ever Happened In WWE

1. Katie Vick

This is the worst storyline and angle in the history of WWE. The fact that Vince McMahon approved it, put his future son-in-law Triple H through it and expected people to actually like this angle is very weird. To make a long story short, Triple H was the heel World Champion in September of 2002 when WWE decided to bring back that title for the Raw brand. Kane was one of the top babyfaces of the Raw brand, so WWE decided he needed more backstory. They came up with a story that Kane dated a cheerleader named Katie Vick that died in a car accident. Then they went further by saying Kane tried to have sex with Katie after she died. Then there was that scene at a funeral home where evil Triple H went into a casket and performed a simulated sexual act with a dummy that was supposed to be Katie. This was shown on television. They booked their heel World Heavyweight Champion to have sex with a dummy that would emotionally scar the babyface. This was WWE's way of making Kane come across like a sympathetic figure. It was unlike anything we had ever seen before since. Apparently a simple story where a heel attacks the face wasn't enough. Oh no. They wanted us to feel sorry for an alleged murder and necrophiliac. Triple H ended up beating Kane in the World Title feud, so not only did the guy simulate sex with a dummy while in a casket, but he was able to beat the guy he was humiliating too. Think about it. Somebody suggested these ideas, others approved it and they put it on their television show with the notion that their fanbase would be interested in this. Absolutely brutal. It's unlikely that the Katie Vick storyline will ever be topped for sheer stupidity. It is as bad as it gets. Which other stupid WWE moments deserve to be on this list?
