This choice may earn a lot of derision from folks who prefer the late '80s version of the Macho Man, the one who came to the ring with sparkly robes, matching bandanas, and gigantic sunglasses. But even though that's rightly considered the "prime" version of Macho Man, talent-wise, there's no denying that his so-called Electric Cowboy suits are his most ubiquitous costumes.

Savage moved into this phase following his reign as King of the Ring, which saw him placed in a commentator role off and on for a few years in the early '90s. At the commentary table, Savage was free to be even more outrageous with his fashion choices, and he used that opportunity to dress like a space cowboy who'd just been shot out of a glitter canon.
