3. Vader Vs. Paul Orndorff (1995)

WWE

Under orders from Eric Bischoff, Vader arrived late to a WCW television taping in August 1995. He had been taking part in a photo shoot, something he assumed Bischoff had told the other agents, but due to a million other things cropping up, Bischoff had forgotten to relay the message.

When Vader arrived, his friend Meng asked him, "€œWhere have you been? You are never late. They have been looking for you.€" When Terry Taylor walked into the room and questioned his absence, Vader became irritated, exclaiming he was doing something for Bischoff. Taylor told him to get changed quickly and come do some promos, because the crew had been waiting on him and WCW would have to pay them to come back if he didn't do them immediately.

Vader agreed, but as he was getting changed Paul Orndorff, a road agent and wrestler, burst into the room. He was unaware that Taylor had already relayed the message about the promos and curtly told him to get a move on. Vader responded with anger and the pair became annoyed with each other. Orndorff began to yell, €œ"!*$% you, you fat-ass f*****g prima donna."€ Vader refused to be talked down to in front of the boys and other agents, so he shouted back, €œ"Hey Paul, go f**k yourself. If you€™re gonna talk to me like that, then get the f**k out of the room.€"

Still seething, Orndorff walked away. Vader remained livid about the way he had been spoken to, and decided to do something about it; he wanted to confront Orndorff and get an apology out of him. Vader spotted 'Mr. Wonderful' in the hallway and deliberately shouldered into him, igniting the powder keg. They quickly squared up and barked expletives at one another.

"Make your move fat-a*s, go ahead, take your best f*****g shot, €˜cos' I€™'m gonna kick your fat f*****g a*s!"€ screamed Orndorff. Vader struck first, smacking Orndorff hard in the chest with his bear-sized palm and knocking him clean off his feet. Orndorff€™'s head cracked off the floor with a thud, immediately causing Vader to worry that he might have gone too far and accidentally killed him. €

"Paul, are you alright?€" he asked tentatively, but was shoved away. Vader backed off, but the fallen Orndorff still wanted to fight. When he made it back to his feet, he pounced with three quick punches to the face, then caught Vader in the side of the head with a powerful left hook that would have floored a rhino, sending him tumbling to the ground.

Orndorff, who was wearing flip-flops, proceeded to kick Vader repeatedly until the skirmish was finally broken up. Vader was left bruised, bloodied, and humiliated. He was determined to save face so stormed into the agent€™'s office and called out Orndorff for another round, telling him that he had not wanted to fight before but had since changed his mind. He goaded him, yelling how he was yet to throw a single punch, whereas Orndorff had to hit him four times in the face before he went down. Gene Okerlund stepped in and cautioned Vader that he could not fight in the executive€™s' room, so the two spilled outside and brawled again, this time in a more even ruckus.

When Orndorff looked to be getting the upper hand again, Meng intervened and pulled him off before he could do any more damage. Orndorff wrestled on the taping that night sporting a black eye, but Vader was sent home and eventually fired.
