20 Possible WWE Royal Rumble 2016 Surprise Entrants

17. Sami Zayn

It's possible he's on the main roster full-time before the Rumble comes, but unlikely. Zayn was rumored to have received the call-up to WWE last Spring before embarrassingly injuring himself during his entrance prior to his RAW match against John Cena.

That setback cost Zayn a spot on the main roster and the Royal Rumble Match could be used as a way to get him back to it. It also could just be a one-off in which he enters, gets eliminated, and still spends the next several months down in NXT.

The likelihood of seeing Sami Zayn as a full-time WWE performer over the next couple weeks aren't as great as the chances of seeing him in the famous battle royal come the end of January.
