12. This Fire Burns - Randy Orton, 2006
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PbfuHLtLqkQ Everybody knows CM Punks first theme in the WWE, This Fire Burns by Killswitch Engage. It became such a big part of his character that ESPNs columnist Bill Simmons did an entire column on the importance of wrestler theme music, with Punks theme used as the main example. What a few of you may not know is that the song wasnt originally designed for Punk, but rather for Randy Orton, and he actually used it on an episode of Smackdown! The tempo was all wrong for a guy with Ortons slow saunter to the ring. It was such a departure from Burn in my Light that it was jarring. WWE quickly realized the mistake and gave Orton back Burn in my Light before giving him an even better song in 2008 that fit his new persona perfectly, Voices.
